Where there is Hope

About

Where there is Hope’, a documentary film project, aims to follow and record the Mingueo project, with the intention of producing a feature length film.  We hope to be able to show the different stages of the process of change and the effectiveness of the project and its potential as a more generalised model for change and development for similar communities throughout Latin America.

While doing that we promise to remain aware of the political aspects and social conflict around and we would like to invite you to embark with us in this process to generate a better international understanding of the situation.

It is hoped that the documentary can be made with the active engagement of the community, through their involvement in decision making, story telling and the process of change in the community.

The initial visit to the community and area is planned for December 2009, when we will be collecting material and footage to raise awareness and to attract committed future funders for this documentary (of course you might well be one of these funders).
